All about the Carnegie Museum of Natural History
The Carnegie Museum Of Natural History is located on Forbes Avenue, Downtown Pittsburgh. The museum is operated by the Carnegie Institute. It originally opened ion 1895 and contained artifacts from ancient Egypt, beautiful minerals, exotic wildlife taxidermy, and dinosaurs. Over time the museum expanded as they had collected over 400 crates of fossils. A team of botanists, entomologists, zoologists, anthropologists, and other scientists studying the natural world traveled abroad from the Arctic to the Amazon to find new discoveries to display at the museum.
